戴豪逸 出生於台灣，曾於台北光仁小學音樂班就讀，跟隨台灣小提琴教母李淑德教授學習。10歲時考進英國普賽爾音樂學院，並於1990年入讀英國著名梅紐因音樂學院，追隨名師波雅斯卡亞以及北京中央音樂學院林耀基教授學習小提琴。1997年 戴豪逸獲獎學金進入英國皇家音樂學院進修，於該校取得小提琴演奏學士，碩士學位及演奏家文憑。他曾接受梅紐因，福克斯，迪蕾和羅森伯格等世界知名小提琴家的指導，並曾以獨奏家及室樂演奏家的身份在歐洲及亞洲多個著名音樂廳演出，包括帶領英國南岸交響樂團在倫敦作首演。
戴豪逸擁有豐富的樂團演出經驗，曾參與多個世界知名樂團演出，包括倫敦室內樂團，BBC威爾斯國家交響樂團，BBC蘇格蘭皇家愛樂管弦樂團，英國國家歌劇院交響樂團，澳門交響樂團，新加坡國家樂團，曾經在羅斯卓波維契、戴維斯、凱亭克，馬捷爾及西奈斯基等著名指揮家的指揮下演奏。
戴豪逸2008〜2012年曾為香港小交響樂團擔任副樂團首席，他用以演奏的是一把1778年 Thomas Eberle 的名琴。

Hao-Yi Tai studied the violin with Professor Natasha Boyarskaya after entering the Yehudi Menuhin School in 1990. He won scholarships for his Bachelor's Degree and Postgraduate Diplomas at the Royal College of Music, where he also completed his Master's Degree in 2004. He has taken lessons with Lord Menuhin, Mauricio Fuks, Yao-Ji Lin, Hu Kun, Dorothy Delay, Sylvia Rosenberg and David Takeno. Hao-Yi has performed throughout Europe and Asia as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player, performing at such venues and festivals as the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Buckingham Palace and Royal Festival Hall, Taipei National Concert Hall and Menuhin Festival in Gstaad. He has played under such great conductors  and collaborated with such musicians as the late Lord Menuhin, Sir Colin Davis, Bernard Haitink, Lorin Maazel, Vassily Sinaisky and János Fürst.
Hao-Yi was a member of the London Chamber Orchestra and Westminster Chamber Orchestra. He was the leader of the Southbank Sinfonia in 2005 and has also had trials with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the orchestra of English National Opera. 
Hao-yi was appointed Associate Concert Master with the Hong Kong Sinfonietta from 2008~2012 and plays a violin by Thomas Eberle, dated 1778。
